Rev. Lindsey Long Joyce (she/her)

Pastor

Rev. Lindsey Joyce sits on a team of clergy that cooperatively pastor three churches in the city of Chicago called the Northside Co-op, but her primary location is Grace Church of Logan Square. She is the former co-president of the board of ONE Northside and on the board of Arise Chicago, focused on faith and labor. She preaches liberative theology passionately and seeks to connect the church and the world. She shares this vision of the world with her husband Adam and two children.

Leslie Martinez (she/her)

Building Manager

Leslie grew up in Humboldt Park and Logan Square and has always loved her city. She is married to the love of her life and they are blessed with two wonderful children. Leslie enjoys trying out new restaurants, traveling, and making memories with her family. At the Grace, Leslie serves as the Building Manager and is fondly known as the “Queen of the Building.” She oversees all community space rentals and handles scheduling, calendaring, troubleshooting, building agreements, and contracts. Most importantly she ensures that every part of Grace is welcoming and fully prepared for all who enter our doors.

Krista Motley (SHE /HER)

Music coordinator

Krista Motley has been attending Grace since 2012 and is a member. As a pianist and singer with Grace, sharing in the community and music each week is a spiritual reset not to be missed. Grace is more than just a church; it is a reconciling space where the pursuit of social justice meets the beauty of worship. While you’ll usually find Krista at the keys or singing, keep an eye out during our "Summer Worship in the Park" sessions, where she breaks out her "enthusiastically mediocre" ukulele skills for the sake of joyful noise.
