Meet the Northside United Methodist Pastoral Team!

Rev. Lindsey Long Joyce

Facilitating Pastor for Grace Church of Logan Square

"I believe deeply that the world is not as it should be and that we are called, as a people of faith, to stand in radical solidarity with the marginalized. That is the motivator of my work, and I hope it is done with love as the source and destination."      - Pastor Lindsey Long Joyce

Pastor Lindsey Long Joyce received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and her Master’s of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. She is trained in community organizing, cross-cultural community building, and justice ministries. Her passion is to work for justice and peace and to build relationships. You’ll most often find her at Grace on Sunday mornings!

Rev. Mori Siegel

"From a young age, I had a strong desire to help people who were struggling with emotional issues. Throughout ministry, I have been passionate about collaborating with others and learning about the stories and experiences of people I encounter. This Co-Op is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other churches and organizations in the community to build a more just and equitable society. My role as a pastor is not only providing spiritual guidance but also advocating for the needs of the congregation and the wider community."      - Pastor Mori Siegel

Pastor Ji Eun Mori Siegel has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from Seoul Women's University and Master's of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. While working in clinical psychology, Pastor Mori experienced that true healing and transformation come from God, and she felt called to help people see themselves as beloved children of God. She served at Wyanet and Rea Oak UMC until July 2020. Then she moved to Ravenswood Fellowship UMC, which joined the Northside Co-Op of Welcoming Churches in January 2023. You may see Mori on the fourth Sunday of the month or teaching Zumbini (Zumba for littles!)
